Gott’s Roadside:

Hiking:
Enjoy a bit of fresh air then explore on foot one of the many fantastic hiking trails which can lead you to waterfalls, beaches, and fantastic views of the region. Recommended hiking trails:

Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park( les mer her) 5 miles, 1.5 miles, and 6.5 miles hiking options each of varying degrees of difficulty. The easy .5 mile hike is home to the famous lookout with the waterfall cascading off a cliff onto the beach which is in multiple paintings

Limekiln State Park (les mer her) Limekiln Falls, redwood trees, and old historic lime kilns. After the hike and once at the parking lot go towards the highway and there will be a road that leads under the highway that leads out to the beach. You can put your feet in and sometimes there are seals and dolphins out there.

Pacific Valley Bluff Trail (les mer her) This is a short walk across a field to a lookout over a cove and ocean. Good whale watching place.

Horseback riding on the beach: (les mer her). Takes about half a day but if you like horses and beaches, this will give memories that will last a lifetime.

Monterey Jazz Festival: One of the longest consecutively running jazz festivals. It debuted on October 3, 1958 and was founded by San Francisco jazz radio broadcaster Jimmy Lyons and features top jazz musicians from around the world. Klikk her for mer informasjon
